Sustainable Ventures are the largest climate-tech ecosystem in Europe. They are a full-service ecosystem empowering sustainable start-ups to scale through community, investment, innovation, and workspaces across the UK. They have over 700 startups in their ecosystem, who have raised over £1.1 Billion in funding and created over 6000 jobs. They have also invested in over 48 climate-tech startups through 7 funds.

As Sustainable Venture’s media partner, we produce all their video and photo content since 2023. As part of this, the team asked us to help produce a funding video for their most recent Sustainable Ventures fund 7, where they aimed to support 8-10 startups through funding and mentoring.

Goals

Produce fundraising video for Sustainable Ventures Fund 7.
Create a dynamic, entertaining yet professional Hero video of the investment arm of Sustainable Ventures.
Introduce Sustainable Venture’s history, services, expertise and ecosystem to a range of stakeholder groups and investors.
Highlight startups within the ecosystem.
Help raise over £1 Million in funding.

Project

Pre-Production: Craft story & a branded creative vision, curate interview subjects & questions, logistics planning.
Production: 1 & 1/2 days on set at both the Sustainable Ventures office in Waterloo, London as well as on-site in East London. Including BTS photography coverage.
Post-production: Editing & story refinement
Timeline: Conception mid August, filmed September, delivered mid-October, published start of November

Overall our video formed part of an over-funded campaign, achieving a final raise of £1.58 Million in funding whilst also delivering a piece of content Sustainable Ventures can use for promotional and follow-on purposes.
